Getting Creative

The aftermath of the party reared it's ugly head this morning. I was aware of the gin bottle being mentioned at the party but I didn't cotton on to the fact that it was being added to my Pimms. There is a very good reason why I don't drink spirits. The smallest amounts entail my having to engage in long and meaningful conversations with Lord on the big white telephone.

Thankfully the morning aftermath passed quite quickly and by mid day we were ready to go. Lachlan was delivered to the station to go to London and collect a car, whilst Lucie, Daisy and I hit Hobby Craft and B&Q to get ideas and materials for Band4Hope signs.

Back at the house armed with wood, paints and chains, the rest of the afternoon was spent tracing wings and getting the calligraphy correct. This was Lucie, Daisy and Lachlan brain storming as they worked. The massive rock on Lucies finger is a moonstone she received yesterday as a late Birthday present from Lachlan's family in Austraila. It is stunning!! You can't see the amazing bracelet or necklace that also arrived.

I cooked up a salmon and prawn curry, proof that the hangover had past. Yes, it's been a great day!
