Thursday 30 October 2008: Scarlet

This is the gravestone of Nathaniel Hawthorne, a 19th century American writer best known for his novel The Scarlet Letter, a book that is still required reading for many American high school students. (Or, at least it was when I was in high school!)

This is the fourth of my famous-grave blips. Thanks again to pocho for encouraging me to pursue this little project :)
