Friday 8 June 2012: Down by the River
It was good to get out today in the car, Mum and I did our groceries and had a little drive. We visited some familiar haunts which looked so very different in the snow.
Autumn has been replaced with a real wintry feel. There was sun this morning giving way to a nor west arch in the sky this afternoon making the river look a little bleak.
As today draws to an end, the snow is turning to slush in some places, some of the roads are clear but many houses are still surrounded in white frozen ice, still looking pretty but also quite cold.
The weekend is almost here and I have heard sleet showers are on their way - could be another cold one brrrr....Enjoy the weekend all :)
