Friday 8 June 2012: Rome 1
I'm in Rome for the weekend with my friend Alison.
We met up at the airport at lunchtime & by 2pm were having our first prosecco of the trip at a small restaurant on Piazza del Popolo.
We're resting our weary feet for a little before cleaning ourselves up and going out for dinner.
This is the view from our balcony - we got upgraded (don't know how or why) and have an actual walkout onto balcony!
