Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus

Waiting for the canal locks to be opened on a cold, wet, summer day in Scotland.

This looks like a flotilla of hired cruisers waiting to go through the locks and out into Loch Ness. The skipper, at the rear, is trying to decide how strong and troublesome the wind is going to be out on the loch - "very" would have been a good guess.

His partner, sitting holding the rope looks thoroughly miserable - ah, summer holidays in Scotland!
