Visiting Granny

A windy and overcast day, again!  The sunshine tried it's best to come out at teatime but hasn't come to much.  At least it has stayed dry.

It's been a really busy day in the museum today, with nearly 600 visitors through the door.  There has been a cruise liner in Lerwick and seems like the most of them packed into the museum to get out of the cold.  We also had the Global Classroom bairns in for the morning, learning about textiles and spinning demos by Cathy.
After tea, I headed down to see granny in the care centre and then popped over to see big bro Jonny.   I framed Friday's blip for his 40th birthday present, as it was taken on his 40th birthday, also it's close to his home and mam's hometown :)
Off to work in the pub tonight!

Granny was well today and had a great time with her.  Well enough and happy enough for me to snap a photo of the two of us :)  She's always happy to family popping in, just can't wait to get her home again and back next door :)  Granny (Lorna Christie) is 88 and soon to be 89.  Taken at Overtonlea car centre, Levenwick.
