WILD ROSES

in the garden.
Before nine o'clock we walked Mischa to the railroadstation and kissed her goodbye. See you soon, we said.
It rained and with intervals ir rained all day.
In the afternoon Piet Hein and I went for a walk. Down the hill to the Weser and followed the path towards Würgassen.
Sitting on a bench we indicated to the horizon and said to each other there is some light, perhaps it will persist and lighten the world up.
But it didn't. Huddled under our umbrella we turned and came home again.

My haiku:

A sea of red roses
The many buds will open
Soon and surprise us

And the proverb:

When Roseberry Topping wear a cap, let Cleveland then beware a clap.
