Ruelle des Chats

We have moved a little closer to the riot zone at Calais and are in a nice campsite in Troyes.  We have stayed here before but the last time,  about 4 years ago,  it was raining so hard we never made it into the city and went home early.

This time,  the weather is perfect although it was very hot in the centre.

This shows a well-known tiny street that was so-called because cats used to jump over it across the rooftops because it was so narrow.

We are heading to Calais tomorrow and home on the tunnel early Friday.

Although I would have no objection to a few more days in France we really do not want to be delayed as we have tickets to see The Who in Hyde Park on Friday as we pass by on our way home.

All the best laid plans ...
