St. Theodosius Russian Orthodox Cathedral

This beautiful cathedral may be recognized by movie fans as the site of the wedding scene from the 1972 film The Deer Hunter. It was the first orthodox church in Ohio and for many years the only one in Cleveland. Built in 1913, it will celebrate its 100th birthday next year. Tonight we ate dinner at a restaurant in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, and after dinner we had to make a visit to Lillies, a chocolate shop where everything is handmade of the best, natural ingredients, and everything is delicious. Lillies is located just around the corner from St. Theodosius, so I managed to find delicious chocolate and my blip...all on the same city block.
