Soi Dog

I will this week be burning rather a lot of midnight oil after attending the Soi Dog event in Ross-on-Wye yesterday. Myself and Emma Drabble both attended the event and photographed the dogs and their owners. Our session fee went straight to the Soi Dog Charity and we are both now spending every spare moment in our respective digital dark rooms trying to get our editing done. Our over enthusiastic owners are already messaging us both for a look at the pics even though the event was only yesterday, I for one am super tired......
      This photograph for me summed up the event and even though this dog didn't belong to this lady I just feel the pose and her face sum up how passionate the Brits are about their dogs. The event was also host to a Guinness World Record attempt 'Most dogs in Bandanas in one place' and whilst they didn't break the World Record of 800 they did break the UK record with a fantastic turn out of 560 :-)
