Shadows and light. Winter and summer.

The vine is doing well this summer, so far. October is a long way off in the world of viticulture.

Wish I could remember the grape variety. Something I'd never heard of. I remember that much.

The firewood needs replenished after the winter. It has been cut and awaits delivery. That may be during summer holidays in August. Hard work shifting it off the driveway to the woodshed and the stacking it.

I still have a dent in one shin from a firewood misadventure a few years back.
