Bantry Blues

Great cloudage this morning as I sped into Bantry - spits and spots of rain, a warm wind, lots of visitors. This was the view from the end of the pier: Whiddy island out at sea, mussel beds and on the right a walkway which goes all around the strand and back into town. I then went down to the other pier - see extra with pillars - also pretty impressive, and the water so clear.
Heavy rain this afternoon and much activity in the polytunnel which had run away with itself.
Thank you for all the good wishes for my brother- you'll be glad to hear he survived the Go Ape session and only had a slight wobbly when required to leap off something onto a bit of netting strung between the trees. He man-upped and is now well on the way to growing old disgracefully. Has to be done.
