Emusing

What better on a wet day like this than a soggy emu? Lots of things probably but I'm quite fond of the emus who live down the road.

It was raining so hard this morning that I took pity on the boys and gave them a lift all the way to school (they did seem very grateful) before taking the dogs for one of the wettest walks we've had for ages (not sure how grateful they were). Since then I've been studying hard with just a quick emu visit by way of a lunch break. It was wet and dark and he or she was sheltering under a tree where it was even darker but I was undeterred!
