Fire Ladder Test

This is a huge abandoned parking lot just outside of Northampton's little downtown (but still part of its business district). Our fire department has tested their apprentice drivers here in the past--my images of that were not quite blipworthy, but I think this one of them trying out their "Ladder Tower" (view it large) definitely meets the test :)

I'm late putting this up, having just returned from giving a presentation to our local bird club--I'm still glowing from their incredibly enthusiastic reception.
