King Leopold Range

These are the beloved Kimberleys and in particular, the King Leopold Range not too far from where we were staying at the Bell Gorge camp.  It was taken at the lookout where we stopped on our way back to Broome.  It had rained overnight and the dirt roads were very muddy. (Unheard of at this time of year and the camp staff felt that some record must have been broken and were going to check).   Grey overcast skies all day today with the odd bit of drizzle.

The extras are Queen Victoria which you pass going through the Napier range.

A dull old Broome to arrive to but back to the luxury of the small fool and falm trees.  Just a pity with the grey skies and long drive none of us felt like taking a dip.  A quiet evening in celebrating Barry's birthday.
