They have opened!

i always love the moments before they open....here's last year's offering!  this poem never ceases to thrill me!!!

after a very intense day of throwing in the mudroom i headed up to Sydney for my first time out on the water with the dragon boat teams!   wow, it was pretty wonderful.   it's always hard those first 1-2 trips out on the water, but it was even more daunting when i discovered that 80% of the boat were preparing to head to a race next week....so we did something like 4 race starts!   holy shit...it was intense, especially for my first time working those muscles!   i also had to paddle on the opposite side cos of the thumb issue....that was so awkward!   anyway, it was great to be back out with the dragon boaters!
