EN ROUTE TO STILL BAY

We travel down to Still Bay on an overcast day. Splashes of yellow rape fields brighten the landscape.
Still Bay is a seaside resort on the tip of Africa and along this coast are caves that have revealed that men were using creative and symbolic thought far earlier here than anywhere else in the world.
Oblivious of these recent discoveries I spent many happy holidays here as a child, enjoying the sea, river and informal life style.
Great to return to Still Bay after so many years and to share this with my family.
