Water Falling

Blipmate and I drove into the hills today on a mission to photograph kereru - the native wood pigeon, that have been seen there in large numbers recently.

The only wood pigeon we saw was far in the distance but we came across a stream tumbling down the hill beside the road. I had no tripod, filters or remote shutter release with me so it was a matter of prop my body against a fence and try not to breathe.

I would like to go back some time with the right gear.

Don't you just love the sound of water falling over rocks?
