Raindrops are Falling...

At first wet, then cold, now windy. No chance of going anywhere for a blip.

I have a winter-sweet ( Chimonanthus) growing beside the deck - it is so well named as the rather inconspicuous flowers fill the deck and my living room with a strong sweet perfume every winter. I haven't blipped it before so I raced out in a lull in the rain and managed to find a flower that wasn't past its best.

This rain will probably finish them off,  but I noticed the daphne is well budded - it wont be long until they open. Spring is on the way.
