The jewel of Montreal!

The Basilique Notre-Dame! It was amazing arriving in Montreal and feeling some fresh air after the warm week in Toronto. It was raining a little bit but we managed to go around the old city and visit the museum Pointe a Calliere following the spectacular  Basilique of Notre Dame designed by the Irish architect James O'Donnell and built between 1824-9. This Catholic church has a stunning medieval-style interior, walnut - wood carvings and exquisite stained glass windows. You can see the gold in the blue ceiling as well and It has the largest organ in North America. Really impressive and the altar is spectacular. Many famous couples have tied the knot in Notre Dame.
Hope you enjoy it and thanks for the stars and hearts about the sunset in Toronto Island.
Hope it will be  good weather tomoroow in Quebec city  because we are planing to go there .
Have a nice day everybody and keep smiling.
