Birthday fireworks
The return of the students finally happened about 0130, but I was in the land of nod by then.
Curlyfries was sound asleep fully clothed atop his bed, when Ally checked at 0730. I dragged them out of bed to have breakfast with their driver Scott, before he left for home at 1130.
It must be great to have the time to sleep.
After a hair cut and a sojourn around Perthshire, I headed back for the Birthday boy's belated celebrations. The amazing pirotechnics with opening musical flower, had him in stitches.
He managed a slab of home made swissroll and enjoyed a good old catchup.
It's great to have them back....even if we are just hoteliers for a few weeks.
