off on an adventure!

Nika, a friend of Leon's came to visit yesterday.   This morning they wanted to head up the Cabot Trail, Meat Cove their destination, and camp there overnight, returning here tomorrow.  I took them down to a spot on the Cabot Trail around 8.30 am.  It was great excuse for me to then have breakfast at the Lobster Galley, and then i headed down to Englishtown and set myself up with all my painting gear, beside the wharf and had a grand old time!   No great masterpieces were created, but i did the practice of drawing and sketching en plain air, which  don't do often enough.  It was wonderful.   Then stopped at a flea market and purchased a stunning little necklace for a $1 and some home baked tea biscuits!   The guys will be very happy.

Just waiting for the damn kiln to cool down enough so i can unload the bisque and start glazing!!!  oh well i guess i could do some house work!

Even altho i had forgotten to change the ISO on the camera, hence the very over exposed tones, i still loved their stance!
