Salt and pepper

I left Robert the builder laying the kitchen floor with alternate black and white floor tiles.

Ending up in Bayswater, the only place that would serve me lunch at half past eleven was Aubaine.

I was pleasantly surprised by the plate of food they served me and especially the salad which was dressed with a proper French vinaigrette (none of your balsamic vinegar) and a complimentary basket of bread. The bread included fresh baguette made with yeast (not tasteless sourdough) and a nutty grain loaf which I brought home for the mouse.
