Winter Wave

Very cold day...9 degrees albeit with some sun but a strong wind bought the wind chill factor into the fore and made for an icy day. One of hose rare days where the only warm place is tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle or sitting right on top of the gas heater.

Sitting here blipping you rugged up in a blanket, gloves, scarf and a paper handkerchief tucked up my nostrils to catch the drips!!

Mother and I ventured out for our daily coffee and sort of enjoyed sitting in our car overlooking our local coast line. The wind was whipping the tops of the waves into misty plumes which occasionally caught a hint of rainbow in the sun.

More rain tomorrow so trying to be thankful for the sun today even though it is seriously diminished by the biting wind.
