Tuesday 19 June 2012: Supersize me

The nappy pin is one of George Wylie's sculptures, Maternity (I think), and sits in Rottenrow gardens.

Windier today, but still lovely and sunny, so once again I had my lunch here.

I spent a fair bit of it pondering how different life would be if I could have a guaranteed daily half-hour slot of sunshine at lunch...

The rest of the time I spent trying not to pay attention to the group of students lolloping about the gardens, ostentatiously free running (or maybe just show-off jumping).

I can't relax when they do that. I keep waiting for a tumble, a crack of bone and wail of pain. Spot the person with an eight-year old!
