Big Day today for Mr C
He. Swam. At. Swim. Lessons.
In the 60 degree rain.
Yay for Mr. C!!!!!!!!
We went the entire summer last year watching Ms B progress, while he did just that, watch from the side of the pool. Growing up in Arizona on swim team for 9 years, it was tough to see. But, I didn't push.
You can't make them get in. That's all there is to it. And pushing (in this case verbally :), well it just has the opposite effect. There may have been a bit of bribery involved that helped (the promise of making the BEST chocolate cookies with Daddy).
And quite a bit of empathy and encouragement from Ms B.
Regardless....we are so proud of him. Way to go Mr. C!
