REFLECTION IN A POND

In Langenthal. Still wonderful summer weather. In the morning it is very misty, but after some hours the sun comes through. We did our purchases in the morning. Done is done!
After lunch Piet Hein did surprise me with another idea for a new walk.
We drove to Langenthal, a lovely village, high upon a plain.
From there we walked southwards, along a slope, through a forest too.
To our big surprise we were suddenly on a path that we once had walked
probably a year ago, At one side the hill covered with trees and at the other side meadows on a slope, where sheep and cows grazed or dozed off in the sun.
This path would bring us too far from our car, so we returned till we came upon another path that would bring us back to Langenthal.
Now we had to climb, and I had to say to my legs, please go on and on, you can do it. Happily they obeyed.
Soon enough we came home again, drank our tea (a bit late) and started to prepare our meal.

My haiku:

The orange fishes
In the pond, dragonflies above
Me walking around it

And the proverb:

The golden age never was the present time.
