When it became obvious that I wasn't going to see any of Basel apart from the hotel grounds, I had a bit of a wander around and found some dried seed heads and their occupants to photograph.

This is the second time this year that I have passed through/been in Basel. I guess it's pretty little streets and squares will still be there when I come back - which probably will be early next year.

Late home, via AMS. Racking up the flights so that I'm within spitting distance of becoming one of those people whom KLM particularly warmly welcomes onto its flights...
