Wednesday 20 June 2012: Winter Beach
These bugs have me beaten :(
Took today off work too - heady, throaty, cough-y, sneezy, ear-achy . . . . . just all-round yukky.
By late afternoon though I was going a bit stir-crazy (I didn't even open the curtains preferring to keep them drawn to retain the heat more efficiently) so decided to head into Tahuna and do a couple of light chores.
Detoured on the way home to have a look at the beach and found these 2 women evidently keen on a mid-winter beach picnic. And yes - it really is mid-winter tomorrow so things should start looking brighter (if somewhat colder!) over the next few weeks.
Bring it on :) I'm over winter already!
