Wednesday 20 June 2012: Ramonda myconi 'Alba'
We planted this beautiful member of the Gesneriaceae family (same family as the African violets) years ago in our rockery. It never flowered and last year we didn't see it at all. We thought it had disappeared.
So we were really very happy when we refound it this spring. Today it flowered for the first time! Yay!
This blip might be worth looking at in the large version!
We had dinner at the allotment after work - sunny weather and temperature around +20°C, almost no wind.
