Wednesday 20 June 2012: Daedalus
This is the Fleet Air Arm memorial on the Victoria Embankment in London.
Its one of my favourite ever statues I think.
From secret London:
"The figure, called Daedalus, shows a pilot bearing wings and is by James Butler RA. He is responsible for the Dolphins in Dolphin Square and also worked on the Albert Memorial renovation"
