And a slow start after the exhaustion of the previous day; mentally drained having to deal with shit once again.

But up, and productive as the sun shone; a day to be out but sadly not to be.
I dived out at lunchtime and got a lot done in 30 minutes; gorgeous day; sunny creating shadows and lines all over the place. (see photo for evidence!!)
And then a couple of hours back at the coal face before quitting at 4 to go and sit in the sun at the Meadows; I brought wine, she brought cheese; we chatted and laughed.
Back to hers for dinner; apple fennel dill pomegranate salad with prawns; shredded chicken burritos and a sneaked apple / blackberry crumble with nuts. All very amiable / low key / relaxed.

And home by half past nine; watched the penultimate Vuelta stage that mattered and then ...gone!
