Auld Lang Syne

Well, I'm back from Arran and back at work... Sigh! However, this blip very much maintains my recent Caledonian theme.

Today's subject is Stéphane who comes from Glasgow but has been living here on Merseyside over the summer and has volunteered with us at work during that time. It's been a real pleasure having him around and, from an entirely selfish point of view, we're sorry that he's heading back home to Glasgow this week. Still, our loss will be psychology's gain as he's about to start a post-grad psychology course at the University of Glasgow - which I'm sure he's going to do brilliantly at. Thanks for all the minute-taking and general support Stéphane (and thanks for the lovely flowers too!) - we're going to miss you!

In tribute to Stéphane here's the great Eddi Reader giving a barnstorming performance of Robert Burns' 'Willie Stewart' (fellow folkies will also enjoy the playing of Phil Cunningham, John McCusker and band in this clip!).

Finally, I'd also like to say thanks very much to everyone for the stars and hearts for my Arran blips. I really appreciate your support! Xx
