This is the old fire station in Singleton, it is clear that the small village once had a volunteer fire brigade, the engine must have been quite small, I suspect either hand or horse drawn.

I don't know anything about it's history but it is quite ornate. While the sign above the door tells us what it once did the sign on the door lets us know that it is now an electricity sub station.
