Agaric without the flies?

It's certainly got quite a bit of slug damage though.  Growing along the field boundary, under oak and in close proximity to the little troop of Fly Agaric.  I wonder if this is the closely related species that is said to be more orange (though this looks pretty red to me).  The top is smooth and there are still some remnants of the universal veil on the outer rim.  

Fungi obsession Day ??? There must have been other things that happened on that day but I don't recall them now.
