Celebration

There was a party atmosphere at the Cardiff City Stadium as we celebrated Wales' qualification for the European Championship Finals - the first time we've qualified for a major finals in my lifetime.

Qualification had been sealed at the weekend which meant there was no tension, even though a victory in the final game at home to Andorra should have been a formality anyway. As it happened we had a goalless first half, but then Ramsey and Bale came up with goals in the second half to secure the win.

A group of us had traveled in the hope of seeing my nephew win his first senior cap, but unfortunately he stayed on the bench. I'm sure he'll carry on working hard for his chance. The achievement was very much presented as a squad effort though, so Adam is one of the 22 red shirted heroes receiving the acclaim in the picture.

A memorable occasion for all in the stadium and for the whole country.
