Monday: Zagreb Tower

Zagreb doesn't have much in the way of high rise buildings but this is one of the few that there are - the imaginatively named Zagreb Tower.  I had a meeting here today - in fact, it was a day of meetings but all a bit disjointed around town.  Still, it got me out and about.

Local news is dominated by the migrant situation.  Hungary has now closed its borders and won't accept any more migrants coming through Croatia.  Slovenia has said they will take them but only 2,500 a day - meanwhile more than that are coming through Croatia, a country not well equipped to deal with large numbers coming through.  The numbers are going to start building up, backlogs will develop and quite what will happen then, nobody knows. In the meantime, Croatia has reopened the border with Serbia in the hope that that will ease the pressure.
