The second half of life..

Three little fishies

Busy day with plenty of teaching (including my least liked Year 10 Health lesson.  Don't ask!) and a lunchtime meeting.  It was good stuff - the handing over of AC responsibility from one year group to the next, the sharing of ideas.......what's worked, what could be better, what could be changed.  The new AC 's have plenty to build on for next year after the current crew have built a solid presence.....and they have some big boots to fill!

The outgoing AC's have been incredibly dedicated, creative and willing - the new group will have ideas of their own.  I'm very much looking forward to working with the new crew but for those leaving, it's the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.  They just have their exams to complete then they're off into the world.  They will no longer be the big fish in the small sea, but will be just another fish in the unimaginably massive sea of the world.  They will have to carve their own destinies, make their own marks, swim in their own direction.  It's so exciting and a little scary all at the same time.

These little fish were on their own journey's of discovery earlier today when they swam straight into M's whitebait net.  A thought I was trying not to entertain as I made them into patties for tea.........

Thanks M - delicious :)
