stuff & nonsense

Water, water everywhere...

It's been dull most of the day today with intermitant rain - cheers D! ;-)

Jen, Gitama and I headed south today to the Brisbane Water National Park. The Girrakool Loop Track is an easy 30 min wander alongside Leask Creek and Piles Creek. A short clamber down from the path leads to some wonderful falls and lots of play with long exposures. Enough of all this colour though. Time to get back to the dark side! :-) Be sure to check out the slow coaches beautiful entries when they post though.

As we walked back, eagle eyed Jen spotted the wee chap in my extra. Not only was he very colourful and spiky but big with it. We reckoned around 10cm in length. If he doesn't become a family sized meal for one of the birdies he'll grow up to be a double headed hawk moth.
