Visibly better
Edinburgh, you've got to love them. Here we have the road markings going back onto Princes Street with a pall of noxious smoke billowing down the street choking the tourists. I couldn't help laughing at the Markon van's ittle strapline - visibly better. The whole tram fiasco summed up.
I wish I could have been there for when they had finished putting down the green for the cycle lane. It runs right down the tram tracks. A wee lane for trams, taxis and bikes. Really, you couldn't make it up. If you want to kill cyclists you couldn't think of anywhere better to put them than in the path of the trams and the taxis. If those don't get them, catching their wheels in the tracks certainly will. Genius. Pure genius.
