"Oh .....

I thought this was a nut!" she said. 

We have identified the nuts we brought back from Lake Nockamixon State Park as hickory nuts.  This afternoon I put some of these nuts as well as some acorns and peanuts out for the squirrels.  After taking all of the hickory nuts and acorns this little one was looking for more.  She mistakenly thought this was a nut!

I think she's a nut!
