What a show!

Last night  Barney Bentall and the Cariboo Express rocked Fulford Hall!   WOW!  What a collection of incredibly talented Canadian musicians on the stage, and what a show they put on!  We've seen world-famous superstars in concert and we both agreed that this was one of the best concerts ever. In Fulford Hall!  Five minutes from home!  It was fantastic!  I wish I could link to the songs they performed.  Humour, a fabulous selection of music, great showmanship, outstanding individual performances.  Still buzzing from it today.  If you go to the link and click on About the Band, there's some background information.  The Performer Biographies are interesting too.   
Bonus:  it was a fund-raising concert for the local food bank and every donation made last night was matched dollar-for-dollar by a charitable foundation. 
Matt Masters, one of the performers, got a standing ovation when Barney Bentall announced that he had run for the NDP against Stephen Harper in the Calgary Herald riding.  Too bad he didn't defeat him.
I hoped to find a poster still pinned to the bulletin board down at Fulford for my blip today and I did!
