Early Bird Blip

Had a full day ahead so decided on an early morning blip to avoid any last minute panic. It was a case of grabbing the camera and heading down to the estuary where the tide was in and the sun (yes a rare sighting of that warm orange glow!) was trying to break through the clouds.

Spent most of the day helping lay a base for the new gamekeepers dog kennels. Lots of fun and a fair bit of hard work making sure we got the base square and level to within a few mm, much to the annoyance of the other guys who were more laid back about the accuracy of the base!

Once finished, it was a rush home to get the grass cut before more rain appeared and Rosamund, Carlos and family arrived for their short break. Grass was finished just as they appeared. Great to see them again and enjoyed a wonderful meal cooked by Mrs B before retiring to the lounge where we are all relaxing and contemplating some sleep!
