Showers over the Lomond Hills

I always forget, when I put my camera on the HDR function and poke it in the general direction where I want to take a picture that it will obviously have interesting results if there are things moving in the picture. Here's another somewhat ghostly case of this.

After a busy conference weekend, it was a great relief to cycle down to Porty Prom on the Innocent Railway path this afternoon to take the air and watch the locals. After a miserable start to the day - weather-wise - when we got completely soaked repeating yesterday's cycle ride around the back of Arthur's Seat, in the end we have been blessed with warm and generally sunny, but also sometimes showery weather today. Relaxing this afternoon with a little light photo-editing while waiting for a friend who is coming to stay over. We're taking him to Nobles for dinner, and then perhaps try the Leith Beer Company on the Shore afterwards for a post-prandial pint.

And tomorrow the writing starts.
