Wednesday 27 June 2012: Late night newt-hunting
Had a nice evening - I made veggie sausage and sundried tomato quiche for tea and son number one made us all creme brulee during the half time break in the football.
Went out into the garden later with a torch and managed to spot the newt in the pond. It looked fairly happy hunting for the chironomid larvae that have invaded the new pond. We are so pleased to see that it is still around.
