Tuesday 26 June 2012: Green weevil

Another busy day rounded off with a teleconference in a very hot and sticky room.

No chance to get out at lunchtime for a blip so I headed into the garden when I got home. The pond is clearing nicely and I caught a glimpse of a newt first thing this morning. They seem to be hiding in the hornwort very well.

This green weevil was wandering over the new alchemilla mollis plant by the edge of the pool.
