Such a shame . . .

I have a bit of a problem with killing rats.  I know they spread disease, eat through wiring and destroy the fabric of houses, but they are fascinating to watch, they are so clever, have such beautiful tiny hands and are always exploring and busy.

We've never had any in the house, we have an electronic device which deters them, but there are plenty of them outside, being right by the beach and  surrounded by agricultural land.  Occasional visiting Border Terrier, Scratch, is an excellent ratter, but Ollie has no killer instinct at all, he is not the slightest bit interested!   I've added a wind swept shot of him in the extras - it was very wild up on the hill . . . and bitter cold!

Interesting that the ratpacks say "professional use only" . . .
