Modeling our gifts

When we arrived home last night from frolicking on the tip of Cape Cod and one of us actually flying through the air, there was a package waiting on the doorstep. Our morning has been busy and one of the gift recipients has been napping the day away, guess which one? Finally, I opened the package addressed to me AND Raspberry. Inside a holiday gift box were two cozy and beautifully handmade scarves for us both. Handmade neck warmth fashioned by  Memories4Me from soft green variegated yarn with hints of yellow and blue gray. Mine was clasped with a beautiful button from her grandmother's button box. Raspberry was so touched that Emerson, Memories4Me's lovely cat gent knew that her scarf would pick up her green and golden eye colors. There was a lovely note attached with special sentiments about her  grandmother's humble buttons as a metaphor for life and friendship. I am very touched and ever grateful for what blipfoto has given me, this is an amazing community.
