Day 3: Abashiri to Asahikawa

Wanting to see the sunrise, we woke up early in the morning. It was freezing outside and unfortunately it was cloudy so we didn't manage to see the sunrise. A lovely fox comforted us as shown in the extra photo.

The owner of the B&B was very kind enough to take us to Lake Tofutsu (shown in the extra photo) in the morning. He took his telescope and showed us a couple of White-tailed eagle and a Steller's sea eagle! No photos of them since I don't have such a telephoto lens. 

We were on trains mostly. We felt we were getting tired day by day.
