THE SHEEP

We walked today, despite the cold and misty weather to the sheep.
The live in a field along the Weser. I did feed the black sheep that came immediately towards me, later others came too. I had to stop picking grass, it was awfully wet and cold.
The 6th of January, traditionally the date ( after the arrival of the three kings)  to remove all Christmas decorations. I was amazed how quickly I managed to do that.
I am a bit late already. I watched a movie on tv and could not stop before the end. Better stop talking here now.

My haiku:

Living outside all year
You do sheep, without complaints
Eating all that grass

And the proverb:

To cast a sheep's eye at.

(= to look amorously  or longingly at)

1529  Skelton,  Agst. Garnesche.
